A macOS Codex report filed on October 26 describes several-minute pauses that look like the assistant is still thinking. Its author captured an HTTP 429 rejection in a separate diagnostic request but explicitly stops short of attributing every earlier pause to that same cause or identifying the precise restriction. The request is to show users when a server has refused a request and when it is due to try again.
An October 26 GitHub report says macOS Cowork can tell the assistant a local tool is disconnected while its server is still starting. The quarterly release covers the first quarter of 2025 through the third quarter of 2026 and excludes enterprise messages and Codex usage. These are message classifications, so they do not by themselves measure jobs lost or productivity gained.
Anthropic said on October 26 that it had filed a Form S-1 registration statement with the SEC for a proposed initial public offering. It has not determined the number of shares or the price range, and the statement has not yet become effective. The filing is a step toward an offering; it does not mean public trading has begun.
